Panic! at the Disco (abbreviated P!ATD) are an American pop rock band originally formed by Ryan Ross, Spencer Smith, Brendon Urie and Brent Walker.
Relation to Fall Out Boy[]
- Panic! at the Disco were the first artist signed to Pete Wentz's record label, DCD2 Records.[1]
- Brendon Urie is a featured artist on "7 Minutes in Heaven (Atavan Halen)",[2]
- From October 27, 2005, through November 23, Panic! at the Disco served as an opening act for Fall Out Boy on the Nintendo Fusion Tour.[3]
- On June 16, 2006, Spencer Smith and Urie were featured in the music video for "A Little Less Sixteen Candles, a Little More Touch Me".[4]
- Ryan Ross and Chad Gilbert recorded the guitar solo for "The Take Over, the Breaks Over".[5]
- On September 9, 2007, at the MTV Video Music Awards, Urie joined Fall Out Boy on stage to perform a remix of "This Ain't a Scene, It's an Arms Race".[6]
- On October 31, 2007, each member of Fall Out Boy went as a member of Panic! at the Disco for Halloween.[7]
- On April 1, 2008, Fall Out Boy released their debut live album, Live in Phoenix. On the DVD version of the album, a cover of Panic! at the Disco's song "I Write Sins Not Tragedies" was released.
- On November 4, 2008, Fall Out Boy released a mixtape titled Welcome to the New Administration featuring tracks by other artists that are signed to DCD2.[8]
- From September 5 through September 29, 2013, Panic! at the Disco served as an opening act for Fall Out Boy on the Save Rock and Roll Tour.[11]
- In 2022, Wentz made a cameo appearance in Panic! at the Disco's music video for "Sugar Soaker".[12]
- On January 18, 2023, Panic! at the Disco were referenced in Fall Out Boy's music video for "Love from the Other Side".[13]
